Rihanna Concert Ticket Sales: Not Good!

 

Rihanna's concert ticket sales are so sluggish, reports say, she may have to call off some dates. That's not what we'd expect, but her 2010 tour had similar issues.

After poor US concert pre-sales last month, Rihanna has been advised by her manager Jay Brown to actually cancel some domestic dates on her "Loud" tour.

For example, Ri's scheduled to perform at TD Garden in Boston July 24 with Cee Lo Green. Only 3,700 tickets have been sold, with 15,000 needed to break even.

Rihanna split from her first manager, Marc Jordan, who launched her career, over a disagreement after her 2010 tour. A rep for Jordan declined to comment.

Her new manager, Brown, is part of Jay-Z's Roc Nation and promises "changes." But an insider said, "She should've been doing theaters and smaller venues."

She still demands the bells and whistles to make it a blow-out show, too: "Normal diva requests," an insider said, "which is tolerated, when you make money."

Taylor Momsen Defends "High-Class Hooker" Look, Calls Out Rihanna Fashion

Another day, another barrage of Taylor Momsen quotes.

The 17-year-old Gossip Girl star and Pretty Reckless singer has provided memorable opinions on Miley Cyrus, vibrator usage, and the state of music in general.

For whatever reason, this time she decided to call out Rihanna.

In an interview with Spin.com, in which Taylor classifies her trashy style as "high-class hooker," Momsen says she is "very protective of what she considers 'rock.'"

Complains the fashion critic, "People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna's wearing f*%kin' leather jackets, and it's really annoying."

Of course, Taylor then adds, "I'm figuring out who I am and what I want to be doing." So, basically experimenting is all good. For her. But Rihanna can suck it!

Rihanna: Red Hair, No Pants in Spain

Rihanna's fiery new red hair was on display as she performed live at the Rock in Rio concert in Madrid, Spain over the weekend. Pants, however? Nowhere to be found.

Always a fierce fashionista with a penchant for shock value to match her music talent, Rihanna's pants-free performance was almost passe compared to those hot locks.

Wearing lingerie in concert? Always. That hair? Wow!

Her daring style shines live, as previous Rihanna fashion displays have proven. After all, who else could pull this off credibly - and while cranking out hit after hit?

Rihanna Concert Fashion: Hot or Not?

Rihanna performed in Paris Wednesday, and is making headlines once again - and not for falling on stage or for a mystery hospitalization this time.

The star, who recently started dating Matt Kemp, may be apart from her L.A. Dodger beau, but gives him plenty of pictures from the road at least.

Chris Brown Reacts to Rihanna 20/20 interview

Chris Brown has heard what Rihanna has to say about the beating he savagely administered in February – and he wishes she had just kept quiet about it.

Brown supports her right to tell her side of the story, but at the same time is not pleased with Rihanna's interview on Good Morning America and 20/20.

Chris said in a statement to MTV:

"I am extremely sorry for what I did, and accept accountability for my actions. At this point, I am taking the proper steps to grow from my mistakes."

"I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it up to God."

"I maintain my position that all the details should remain a private matter between us," he added. "I do appreciate her support and wish her the best."

While not denying or hiding from the assault that left his girlfriend battered and bruised, Chris Brown nevertheless wishes the details would remain private.

In a 20/20 interview Friday, Rihanna offered a graphic account of the February 7 fight with her then-boyfriend Brown, describing what she calls the terrifying blankness, a soulless void that seemed to come over him as he assaulted her.

"He was clearly blacked-out," she says. "There was no person when I looked at him."

Brown, who like Rihanna is releasing a new album in the near future (Graffiti drops December 8) declined to respond to his ex's specific comments.
