Author Ian Halperin, who just finished writing a tell-all biography on Jackson, says that the reclusive singer is suffering from Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency -- a sometimes fatal lung disease. Halperin also claims Jackson has emphysema and gastrointestinal bleeding, as well as a nasty case of 'touchyourchildrenitis' and body dysmorphia.
Halperin claims, “He’s had it for years, but it’s gotten worse. He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it...(But) it’s the (gastrointestinal) bleeding that is the most problematic part. It could kill him.”
But Jackson’s official rep says the story is a “total fabrication.” He told People magazine, "Mr. Jackson is in fine health and finalizing negotiations with a major entertainment company and television network for both a world tour and a series of specials and appearances."
The second half of that statement is obviously a lie, so who’s to say the first isn’t? Jacko was recently photographed in a wheelchair, an a few weeks ago was seen being propped up while walking.
And in this photo, he looks like one of the zombies in his own Thriller video.
