Taylor Momsen Defends "High-Class Hooker" Look, Calls Out Rihanna Fashion

Another day, another barrage of Taylor Momsen quotes.

The 17-year-old Gossip Girl star and Pretty Reckless singer has provided memorable opinions on Miley Cyrus, vibrator usage, and the state of music in general.

For whatever reason, this time she decided to call out Rihanna.

In an interview with Spin.com, in which Taylor classifies her trashy style as "high-class hooker," Momsen says she is "very protective of what she considers 'rock.'"

Complains the fashion critic, "People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna's wearing f*%kin' leather jackets, and it's really annoying."

Of course, Taylor then adds, "I'm figuring out who I am and what I want to be doing." So, basically experimenting is all good. For her. But Rihanna can suck it!

Molly Sims to Britney Spears: Pull it Together!

If supermodel Molly Sims could give any celebrity a makeover, she love to give one to Britney Spears. Wouldn't we all, Mols. Wouldn't. We. All.

“I would take away the boots, all of the tank tops,” the 37-year-old Sims tells Health magazine. “She’s so pretty - she just needs help with dressing."

"She gets too many trends going at once.”

Give her a break, Mols. Girl wore a bra this week! You know that's not easy for her, and we should reward the little things. Baby steps ...

Y'all want me to wear what?!

But the actress and cover model admits that she’s had her own share of flawed fashion moments: “I had braces for two-and-a-half years, and I promise you, I wouldn’t have been the same girl if I didn’t. I would not have smiled.”

In fact, Sims tells the magazine that she’s “not a proponent of cosmetic surgery.” So it's safe to assume she's not a fan of Heidi Montag, either.

And as someone whose life has centered around the importance of looks, the Sports Illustrated cover girl admits, “I think I’ve done every crazy diet there was in the beginning, but it’s weird: I’m thinner now than I was when I was modeling.”

Jersey Shore Stars Spark Product, Style Crazes

Jersey Shore, the second season of which premieres tonight on MTV, is a phenomenon. Not a good show, necessarily, but a phenomenon just the same.

From a small beach house in New Jersey, the self-professed guidos have inspired spray tans, blowouts and ab-tastic bodies across the U.S. and beyond.

What was a regional style - term used very loosely - has gone global thanks to Jersey Shore, which earned 4.8 million viewers for its first season finale.

It goes beyond fashion, too.

On top of clothing lines, cast members have penned book deals, filmed workout videos, inspired iPhone apps and command big bucks for appearances.

Not since Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana have a TV show and its star been marketed so insatiably. Only this is a GTL-loving band of hedonists.

For whatever reason, there's a whole community that really identifies with the show so much that they see themselves in the larger-than-life stars.

Jersey Shore products ranging from iPod Touch apps letting you "Jersefy" your machine to iTunes' "Spread Snooki" iPhone photo app exemplify this.

For a tan like Snooki, you can purchase a lotion called Sunlove, for which Snooki is a spokesperson. Or you can sample JWoww's Filthy clothing line.

For guys, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's clothing line for Dilligaf by Bohica Bill includes shirts, which he rarely wears, sweatshirts and accessories.

The most entrepreneurial member of the cast, The Situation also has a self-help guidebook for "guidos" in the works, not to mention a workout DVD.

Are their 15 minutes almost up? Don't count on it. The cast just signed big contract extensions for Season 3 and added a new star, Deena Nicole.

Lucy Hale Admires Fashion Tastes of Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus

On Pretty Little Liars, Lucy Hale makes it clear that she can keep a secret.
But the 21-year old actress held nothing back in an interview this week with WhoWhatWear dot com. She talked to the website about her fashion tastes and those of celebrities she admits. A few excerpts follow:
On her fashion evolution: “When I was 16, I wasn’t a risk taker; I was very basic, just jeans and t-shirts. I loved fashion, I loved looking at it, and I could admire the people who took those risks, but I could never do it. I’m proud of myself that I’m willing to take the extra step and do something a little different now.”
On her style icons: “I love the classic [style icons] like Kate Moss and Sienna Miller, but I really admire girls my age, like Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus, for their everyday style.”
On her style staple: “I like to look really feminine - I’m all about dresses, heels, hair and makeup - but then again, I’m also obsessed with my Steve Madden motorcycle boots. I’m still finding myself and figuring out what my signature style is. There’s nothing I wouldn’t try at this point.”

Kristen Stewart at Premiere of Eclipse: Bare Armed and Dangerous!

In almost all of her public appearances, Kristen Stewart comes across as shy and reserved.

But there's one way in which this actress isn't afraid to express herself: via red carpet fashion.

Stewart is rarely seen in a typical, conversative dress. Just look at examples from a Metropolitan Museum of Art event in May and from a promotional stop in Rome last week.

Blake Lively's breasts cannot be tamed. Gossip Girl fans know this all too well, as Serena's eye-popping outfits and utter disdain for bras are well-documented.

Earlier this week, Damon Thomas called out ex-wife Kim Kardashian as a "fame whore" who is jealous of her sisters and has no talent.

Soon afterward, Khloe Kardashian came to Kim's defense and said: "We haven't spoken to this guy in years! Their relationship was 10 years ago! It's sad that people will make up lies for money! I'm just happy that Kim is out of that unhealthy relationship."

When Jessica Simpson rocked a pair of mama jeans last year, she made headlines for weeks.

Granted, the attention was negative - but Simpson turned criticism of her weight into sympathy and even a reality show, True Beauty.

Now, Kim Kardashian is hoping for the same result. She made this same fashion statement earlier in the week and responded to critics before they even had a chance to get vocal.

"For some reason, high-waisted jeans are always branded with this negative term and I think it's kind of ridiculous," she blogged. "Any woman who is proud of her curves should be able to flaunt them in high-waisted jeans!!! I'm proud to rock the mom jeans."

So, wait, Kim: now you're proud to be curvy? What about your revenge body and every other word out of your mouth about QuickTrim?

Fashion Face-Off: Miley Cyrus vs. Jessica Stroup

Jessica Stroup has something in common with Miley Cyrus.

No, she doesn't date older men. And there's no video of her doing a stripper impression in front of a teenage audience. It's also unclear if Justin Bieber finds her corny and manufactured by Disney.

Fergie in Elle: A Hairstyle Retrospective

Fergie is featured in the new issue of Elle next month. So are an abundance of wild, crazy and traditional hairstyles the Black Eyed Pea has sported over the years.

When she's mocked for her looks, the singer takes it personally.

"It has hurt me in the past when people say things like how 'fugly' I am or how horrible I look," she says. "I've had to learn not to give it a high priority. When you're trying to juggle all of this in your life, sometimes you're not going to look perfect."

"I don't have time to get a facial every couple of days."

Fergie has come so far, yet not without struggle.

The star's relationship style changed as often as her hair since marrying Josh Duhamel in January 2009, although she's also had to weather a storm on that front - a cheating scandal involving Atlanta stripper Nicole Forrester.

Like her battle with esteem issues, though, she appears to have prevailed in the end.

"You grow a deeper love for each other, besides the initial lust and falling in love and all of that," she adds about their marriage. "You come to know each other a lot better, you grow together, and it makes you love each other that much deeper."
