Lucy Hale Admires Fashion Tastes of Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus
But the 21-year old actress held nothing back in an interview this week with WhoWhatWear dot com. She talked to the website about her fashion tastes and those of celebrities she admits. A few excerpts follow:
On her fashion evolution: “When I was 16, I wasn’t a risk taker; I was very basic, just jeans and t-shirts. I loved fashion, I loved looking at it, and I could admire the people who took those risks, but I could never do it. I’m proud of myself that I’m willing to take the extra step and do something a little different now.”
On her style icons: “I love the classic [style icons] like Kate Moss and Sienna Miller, but I really admire girls my age, like Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus, for their everyday style.”
On her style staple: “I like to look really feminine - I’m all about dresses, heels, hair and makeup - but then again, I’m also obsessed with my Steve Madden motorcycle boots. I’m still finding myself and figuring out what my signature style is. There’s nothing I wouldn’t try at this point.”

Blake Lively Cleavage: Airbrushed Out By Vogue!
Blake Lively's breasts cannot be tamed. Gossip Girl fans know this all too well, as Serena's eye-popping outfits and utter disdain for bras are well-documented.
The actress often follows suit in real life, too, as you can see below (left). But did Vogue try to dampen the cleavage factor in its latest cover shoot with Blake?
Check out the comparison below. How in the world is that the same girl on the right? Don't get us wrong, she'd still be gorgeous, but she's not Kate Hudson.
Something is definitely amiss here ...
For whatever reason, Vogue gave Blake Lively a breast reduction.
So why, Vogue? Why??!! Because you're a "high fashion" magazine? Don't ask us why possessing ample breasts and cleavage makes Blake unfashionable by default.
How many times have you seen actresses airbrushed to appear more voluptuous? Here you have a natural beauty like this and they play it down. What gives?
Would Vogue's female readership be that offended if their Blake Lively pictures showcased her curves? Outrageous. We demand answers ... and an apology.
Fashion Face-Off: Jessica Simpson vs. Audrina Patridge
Jessica Simpson and Audrina Patridge have a lot in common.
Both break up with guys a lot, have large breasts, have little to no talent and are fixtures on celebrity gossip websites. They also have similar style!
Simpson recently wore a Madewell romper with a denim shirt while arriving in N.Y.C., while Patridge kept a floral one-piece bare for shopping in L.A.

Fashion Face-Off: Sophia Bush vs. Khloe Kardashian
Earlier this week, Damon Thomas called out ex-wife Kim Kardashian as a "fame whore" who is jealous of her sisters and has no talent.
Soon afterward, Khloe Kardashian came to Kim's defense and said: "We haven't spoken to this guy in years! Their relationship was 10 years ago! It's sad that people will make up lies for money! I'm just happy that Kim is out of that unhealthy relationship."
That's a nice sentiment, but Khloe has her own problems to worry about: she's been challenged to a fashion face-off by Sophia Bush!
The One Tree Hill actress is seen below in the same Hervé Léger dress as Khloe donned last month. Study the photos and then vote in our poll...
Kim Kardashian in Mom Jeans
When Jessica Simpson rocked a pair of mama jeans last year, she made headlines for weeks.
Granted, the attention was negative - but Simpson turned criticism of her weight into sympathy and even a reality show, True Beauty.
Now, Kim Kardashian is hoping for the same result. She made this same fashion statement earlier in the week and responded to critics before they even had a chance to get vocal.
"For some reason, high-waisted jeans are always branded with this negative term and I think it's kind of ridiculous," she blogged. "Any woman who is proud of her curves should be able to flaunt them in high-waisted jeans!!! I'm proud to rock the mom jeans."
So, wait, Kim: now you're proud to be curvy? What about your revenge body and every other word out of your mouth about QuickTrim?
Rihanna Concert Fashion: Hot or Not?
Rihanna performed in Paris Wednesday, and is making headlines once again - and not for falling on stage or for a mystery hospitalization this time.
The star, who recently started dating Matt Kemp, may be apart from her L.A. Dodger beau, but gives him plenty of pictures from the road at least.
Her album, Rated R, may be aptly titled, as her concert attire seems appropriate for mature audiences only. Yowza. What do you think, hot or not?

Fashion Face-Off: Miley Cyrus vs. Jessica Stroup
Jessica Stroup has something in common with Miley Cyrus.
No, she doesn't date older men. And there's no video of her doing a stripper impression in front of a teenage audience. It's also unclear if Justin Bieber finds her corny and manufactured by Disney.
But we can at least report that the 90210 cast member and the young movie star share similar fashion taste. Each has been spotted out in the same Topshop dress, which retails for approximately $60.
Who pulls off this look better?
"I'd do it every year if I could." J-Woww on breast implants, to Harper's Bazaar.
Quotes like that give you some idea of what the fashion mag was up against when it sought to turn Jersey Shore cast members into elegant, classy ladies.
If you never saw show, however, you might be fooled. Jenni (J-Woww) Farley, Sammi Giancola (Sweetheart) and Nicole Polizzi (Snooki) clean up nice ...
FISH OUT OF WATER: The girls attempt to look refined.
In the magazine, Snooki, J-Woww and Sammi get etiquette lessons from New York City socialite Tinsley Mortimer for reasons unknown. Will they take?
"I know a couple things about manners," Snooki declares. "I just don't use them."
There you have it. You can take the princess out of Poughkeepsie, but you can't make the princess any less trashy or have her put on underwear.

Fergie in Elle: A Hairstyle Retrospective
Fergie is featured in the new issue of Elle next month. So are an abundance of wild, crazy and traditional hairstyles the Black Eyed Pea has sported over the years.
When she's mocked for her looks, the singer takes it personally.
"It has hurt me in the past when people say things like how 'fugly' I am or how horrible I look," she says. "I've had to learn not to give it a high priority. When you're trying to juggle all of this in your life, sometimes you're not going to look perfect."
"I don't have time to get a facial every couple of days."
Fergie has come so far, yet not without struggle.
The star's relationship style changed as often as her hair since marrying Josh Duhamel in January 2009, although she's also had to weather a storm on that front - a cheating scandal involving Atlanta stripper Nicole Forrester.
Like her battle with esteem issues, though, she appears to have prevailed in the end.
"You grow a deeper love for each other, besides the initial lust and falling in love and all of that," she adds about their marriage. "You come to know each other a lot better, you grow together, and it makes you love each other that much deeper."
Amen. Click to enlarge Fergie pictures over the years. Which hairstyle is your fave?
